Yes, everything discussed in session is confidential and will not be disclosed to anyone without your written permission, except where disclosure is required by law. As a licensed clinical social worker, I am bound by mental health law to report when an individual is at risk of harm to themselves or others. I am also mandated by law to report suspected child or elder abuse. If this ever occurs, further evaluation of the specific situation is sometimes the outcome. I will collaborate with you if these events occur with the priority of keeping you safe. Also if I am subpoenaed by a court confidentiality is waived by law.

I meet with individuals on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, depending on their therapy needs and schedule. Scheduling also depends on my own availability at any given time. We work together to find a time that allows for you to have a confidential setting for your session.
Sessions last between 45 minutes and 90 minutes.

Under the law, as a health care provider, I will give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
This estimate is called a "Good Faith Estimate" and explains how much your Therapy, or psycho social intake will cost. Here are a few key things you should know about your Good Faith Estimate:
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services anywhere you go. This can include related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
You may ensure that I give you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 3 business days before your Therapy or psychosocial intake. You can also ask me for a Good Faith Estimate prior to scheduling.
If you receive a bill that is $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
It's recommended that you save a copy of your Good Faith Estimate for your records.
For further information, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
The included "Good Faith Estimate" language is a modification of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services model notice.
If you have any questions about a Good Faith Estimate related to your services, please contact me at iler.tina.lcswr@gmail.com.
